Most days, you toil away in your business, nose to the grindstone, doing all the important activities required to make money, right? Things like meetings and sales conversations, website updates and administrative tasks – all of which are required to build a successful business, of course.
But have you ever noticed how overwhelming that can be? And how before you know it, your sense of joy, ease, and fun can slip right out from under you, and things start to feel just downright HARD? I certainly know that feeling.
Listen, we were not put on this planet to struggle, toil, or live in a constant state of overwhelm. We were put here as divine beings to THRIVE, play, laugh and enjoy our life’s work.
So when cash-flow is tight and fun seems like something other people do, stop and pull out the oldest and most reliable tool in the shed: gratitude.
A few years ago, my business skyrocketed from a paltry 11K to well over 6-figures, and practicing gratitude daily was one of the main reasons I experienced such exponential growth. Cultivating an attitude of gratitude not only makes you feel better, it produces the results you want. If what you focus on increases, if what you think about you bring about, then why in the world are you focusing on what’s feeling hard and what’s not working? In those tough moments you must choose to shift your perspective and remind yourself of what IS working…of how far you HAVE come…of what you’re EXCITED ABOUT for the future, and then natural law takes over: you’ll get more of what you’re grateful for and what you want, including money.
By the way, this is no longer some hippy-dippy, woo-woo theory. Years ago quantum physicists uncovered the science behind this phenomenon. Take a look at the riveting work of Dr. John Hagelin or Fred Alan Wolf to understand that you truly are in the driver’s seat of your life and your business. The scientific and spiritual fact is: you have total dominion over what you want to create, which, of course, is spiritual, emotional, physical and financial wealth.
Try the simple (but not always easy) practice of gratitude – you’ll get where you want to go faster…and have a lot more fun along the way. Can you list 3 things you’re grateful for in your business right now?
